This webinar showcased how TfWM manages and leverages VivaCity’s innovative technologies to accelerate their Vision Zero goals. Along with the recording, you will also receive a PDF summary of the webinar.   The Road Safety industry in the UK is evolving in how we deliver road safety programmes. Adoption of frameworks such as [Safe Systems](https://www.pacts.org.uk/safe-system/) means local authorities are taking a more proactive approach to protect vulnerable road users. To achieve this, authorities need accurate and reliable data that can identify hazardous areas before incidents occur rather than relying on post-accident and KSI data. TfWM has been using VivaCity’s pioneering AI-powered Computer Vision technology to access a suite of Smart Road Safety data features including traffic volumes, speed and near miss. This helps them to identify areas in their network that are high risk, and subsequently use Near Miss to zoom into specific road user interactions at a site level.
