What’s Inside?
An overview of the Smart Junctions solution: Using computer vision sensors with inbuilt AI processing power, Smart Junctions is the next generation of intelligent traffic signal control. The system anonymously identifies different types of road users at junctions and, using Machine Learning, can enable control of traffic signals to reduce congestion or queuing, or to allow different modes of transportation to be prioritised as and when required.
Our work with Transport for Greater Manchester and key outcomes, which include: ○ Demonstration of 23% Improvement across a single junction ○ Simultaneous control of five junctions ○ Continuous unsupervised control ○ Scaling the system to new cities
