Procurement

Sensor_Gradient + White

In 2022 a framework agreement was established with VivaCity allowing the partners named in the agreement to purchase devices, services and maintenance from VivaCity using agreed pricing and under an existing contract. The  Greater Cambridge Partnership (GCP adopted this approach to ensure consistency of monitoring across the wider Cambridgeshire area allowing clear comparison amongst areas and schemes and the ability to build a detailed evidence base. The framework agreement also streamlines the process ensuring that monitoring of projects can be implemented efficiently. The framework has an initial four year term, with the option to extend for 2 further years.

The partners named on the framework are the Greater Cambridge Partnership, Cambridgeshire County Council, South Cambridgeshire District Council, Cambridge City Council, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority and Peterborough City Council. On identifying a need for mobility monitoring to support a scheme or project, any of the named organisations are able to contact VivaCity directly to request a quote via the framework agreement.

They are then supported by VivaCity and through processes developed by the GCP Smart team to deploy sensors for their desired projects. Data is also collected and made available via the Alchera platform to allow ease of use, data sharing and collaboration

If you are an organisation not named in the framework please get in touch to discuss how Vivacity can be procured by your organisation. Get in touch with Cleo Weeden via the button below.
